When a buyer comes to view your Piscataway home for sale, for example, you'll want to make sure that it’s clean, organized, and welcoming. Spruce up your lawn and trim your hedges - do anything to make it look like a warm and inviting place to live.

One thing that you should never do is remain in the home during a showing. Go to a coffee shop or the gym, just get lost for a little while during the showing. It’s extremely uncomfortable for a buyer to interact with a homeowner during a showing.

My advice is just to stay away from your home while a buyer is inside. They will feel more comfortable and the chance of them buying your home will increase. If you’re in the home, asking them questions and making them uneasy, they probably won’t buy your property. That’s all for today, come back next time for more New Jersey real estate advice!
