The Franklin Township school system serves 4,900 kids and consists of seven elementary schools, one intermediate school, and one high school. In addition to the public school system, the Township of Franklin also has several private schools, including the K-12 Rutgers Preparatory School and St. Matthias School that goes from preschool to 8th grade, giving a variety of schools to choose from.
